Our weekend at the River Ridge Ranch

About a month and a half ago we went up to see my cousin Mason's family, up at their summer home called the River Ridge Ranch in Millboro. They were so nice to have us up for the weekend, and we had a wonderful and relaxing visit. Chad got to kayak with Mason down the Cowpasture River, which he had a blast doing. And I got to sit for a long period of time without getting up, while Kingston played with his cousin's. Ahhhh... =) Thank you all for having us, we had so much fun! Here are some pictures from our trip.

Yayyyyy!!!!! We are going on a trip!

Man this is good stuff!

The view in the morning from our cabin porch.

Looking out the front of our porch.

Kingston thought it would be fun to try on Adrienne's croc's while dad was out fishing.

Now he is trying to walk in them.

Dad this helmut is heavy.....

Yeah, I like the bike better without the helmut thanks! More paci room!

Chad and Kingston taking a spin in the pink golf cart.... I don't know who is driving who though?

Kingston running up to the horses to check them out.

The horses were VERY hungry! Kingston didn't know to be scared or excited...

Still holdin on tight...

He felt more comfortable in the pink golf cart instead.... ha ha...

Emme decided to follow us the whole way up and down the property. Poor dog, she was wore out.

Here is another shot of her literally running beside our golf cart.

Feeding the other horses in the stalls.

Chad and the horse seem to be getting a little too close.... hummm?

One of the many many beautiful views.

Kingston enjoying the morning, while playing with the pebbles.

Kingston and Dada going for another ride in the pink golf cart.... doesn't dada look excited?!?! ha ha ha ha

Kingston does!

Chad trying to hula hoop.... No comment on this one! ha ha ha...

Close up shot.

Hey someone call the police this man in the window keeps following me around and taking pictures!

Okay, I will pose for one second! That's it people!

We had not even left the driveway before he fell asleep!

Cory and Thanh's Wedding Day

July 11th was Chad's brother Cory's wedding to Thanh. Chad was a groomsmen and Kingston was the Ring Bearer. Both did a good job, but Kingston didn't follow through with his responsibility so much, but gave it a good try. We didn't have high expectations for him, so the pressure didn't get to him. He wanted to entertain the wedding guest verses going down the aisle, which I had a feeling would happen even though I was at the end of the aisle with his pacifier and "Mr. Turtle." That didn't work, so I had to run up half way and get him. But he still seemed to please the crowd which was his ultimate goal. =) It was a very beautiful wedding and reception. Cory and Thanh we wish you both much happiness in your marriage! Enjoy the pictures from the day.

The beginning of Thanh and Cory's wedding day. The Bean family and groomsmen line up to present their gifts for the Vietnamese Ceremony. Chad had to introduce us, which he did a very good job!
After introducing the family. (If you look close enough you can probably see the sweat on Chad's face from nerves...) ha ha .. No he does look relieved of his duty though! Chad's mom and Dad look so proud.

Cory and Thanh taking pictures after their ceremony in Thanh's parents house.

The star before his "big gig!" Sucking on the paci for good luck. How do I look mom?

And check my hair.... does it look frizzy or are my curls tame today... It just rained ya know!

Oh my gosh I have to run and check in the mirror real quick! Mom, I need a hair pick and some gel, STAT!

My two men posing for me.

One of them doesn't want to stay still though... who could that be?

Our family. This is about as long as Kingston will stay still. Two seconds and that's all you get!

Fueling up with some carbs before my big gig, helps with my nerves. Especially when I shove it all in my mouth.

After the wedding gig, blowing off some steam with Gami. Looking at the Dj lights.

Still looking at the lights.... Or waiting for the Dj to play his song... Were not sure?

Oh my gosh they are playing my song!!! yayyyyyy!

Cory and his mom dancing.

Cory and Thanh dancing their first dance.

Cory and Thanh in their Vietnamese wedding attire.

The three of us trying to dance. Why am I the only one paying attention...?

Cory showing Thanh his moves.

Kingston and I enjoying some down time. Papaw didn't realize he was getting his picture taken though...
Cory and Thanh feeding each other their wedding cake. Cory looks like he has the upper hand in this one.

The Wedding Rehearsal and Dinner

Here are the pictures from Chad's brother Cory and Thanh's wedding rehearsal and dinner on July 10th. Enjoy!

Nana trying to catch Kingston.... he pretty much wanted to walk well run around the whole place while everyone else was rehearsing.

Papaw Ralph, Aunt Nancy, and Peggy watching the rehearsal... Papaw caught me taking his picture... uh oh! =)

After all that hard work with rehearsing I need to try a chicken wing.

Nana, stay away from the chicken wing, you can have the paci!

Where have you been all my life?!?!?!

The happy couple before their big day.

Chad trying to carry on a conversation with Uncle Larry while letting Kingston sit on his head.

Kingston with his new love interest Lee, well she was his favorite. Pretty much all of the ladies in Thanh's family were giving Kingston lots of attention and he pretty much ate it all up.

Going after another love interest...

Falling down while chasing his favorite love interest.
"What I meant to fall down?!? Hey look how many pushups I can do... 1...1...1...oh forget it, you get the picture!"

The Bean's (with pacifier)

The Bean's revised (without pacifier)

Kingston realizing that there was ice in a bucket all evening and didn't even know!

Dada trying to distract Kingston away from the ice with a cup of ice...

It didn't work too long... back to the bucket!
