Kingston's 3rd Birthday
I can't believe it has been 3 years already. It seems like only yesterday that Kingston came into our world. You never know how fast years really go by until you have kids. And when people used to tell me the years go by too fast I never really understood. Well I certainly do now!
He has really turned into a sweet little boy and we are so proud of him. He definitely has a personality for sure and is not very shy either. He will go up to any kid at a play ground or say hi to any child when we are in public. And if they don't say anything to him, we will just continue to say hi to them until they notice. Whenever I take him somewhere to play he will find any little boy(s) he can find and run right up to them and say "Hey little boy(s) you want to play?" He loves watching Scooby Doo and also playing with his Scooby Doo characters as well. Daphne and Fred are his favorites, and he will constantly ask me to be Daphne and he will be Fred. Even on my birthday he said to me "Happy Birthday Daphne!" He also loves Super Hero's and Star Wars(Which his dad has gotten him into.) and Darth Vader is by far his favorite. I think it is the cape that he likes the most. His favorite food is pizza. And he will usually take a nap still on most good days. We also still have him on Steroids(joking), because at his 3 year check-up his height and weight were still off the chart. He is in the 95 percentile for both! He looks more like a 4 or 5 year old.
He also started Pre-School in January, which he was really excited to do. And has made several friends especially a little girl named Lucy, from which I was told by his teachers he tried to hold her hand and put his arm around her. (Oh my!) He is a very sensitive boy too, which I really do think is great, and will always say he is sorry if you are upset (angry or sad), or if he has done something wrong. He has now moved from his "Little Boy" room to his "Big Boy" room and is doing well sleeping in his new "Big Boy" bed too! For the first day or so he would say he wanted to go into his Little Boy bed and sleep instead, but after taking a good nap in his "Big Boy" bed for the first time he was fine. I will post some pictures of the new room soon. I think I got more upset than he did the last night he was going to sleep in his baby room. I cried like a baby thinking about how much he has grown and how fast the time has flown by. Poor Chad had to comfort me after we put him to bed while I balled my eyes out for a couple of minutes. Then I was fine! ha ha ha.... I blame it on the pregnancy hormones. Even though I wish he was still my little baby again, I am having so much fun with him now as a little boy now. The things he says and does is just hilarious, and I can't wait to see what he continues to turn out to be in life.
Over the last 2 years we just had a low key party at our house, but this year we went the location party route, and invited Kingston's friends to help him celebrate. We decided to throw him a party at Romp N Roll, and it was totally the right choose! All the kids had a blast and the parents seemed to have fun too. Even with Kingston being sick with an ear infection, he totally seemed to enjoy his big day! Happy Birthday Kingston! We are so proud of you!
The day he was born.
2-13-08 and weighed 9lbs 2 ounces
Kingston's 2nd Birthday. He got his first hair cut shortly after his birthday. I have to admit, I waited a little too long..... ha ha ha
The morning of his 3rd birthday! I usually take a picture of him in the morning on his birthday when he wakes up. He looks so excited!
Eating his birthday breakfast with Gandaddy. Cinnamon buns!
Checking out his birthday breakfast. (He woke up sick with an ear infection unfortunately, so he wasn't in the most high of spirits as usual. Poor guy!)
Getting the party started at Romp and Roll!
Doing some dancing with the instructors and his friends.
All the kids trying to blow up the moon bounce.

Looks like they had enough hot air to get it all blown up!
Kingston getting ready to jump into the moon bounce.

Having fun with Landon and the balloons.

Kingston's cool cake! (For about a month before his birthday he would tell me and anyone that would ask him about his birthday, that he was having a Diego cake! )
