Holiday Activities

We did alot of fun things during the month of December. Here are a some of our holiday activities. Enjoy!

Butterscotch and Snickers didn't do much over the holidays. Oh the life!

Our new annual tradition we did last year, breakfast with Santa. Kingston digging in!

Luckily our buddy Jackson was there again this year, so they waited for Santa together. So cute!

Yayyyyyy, Santa eat breakfast with us!

On second thought, can we just play with your out fit and hair? Santa didn't seem pleased...

How about a hug?

How about we meet again next year Santa? Same place, same time okay?

Gammy, Gandaddy, and Landon came down for a visit to their dog Lucy's vet, and brought over some Dr. supplies.

Landon is getting the shot ready.....

Hold still Gandaddy, it won't hurt too much....

Two big boys on a little rocket! (This reminds me of that part in the "Dumb and Dumber" movie where they both are riding on the moped.... ha ha ha...)

Someone is excited to go get our Christmas tree!

Wrap it up boys, and lets get that baby home! It's cold out here!

Warm up the car dad, lets roll!

Hey, what about this little one too? It looks like a Charlie Brown Christmas tree!

After a nap, I am ready to decorate!

As you can see, Kingston had a certain area of the tree he decided to put his ornaments. One limb had like 5 or 6 ornaments.

Checking out one of mom's favorite ornaments when she was a kid.

Looks like it might be someone else's too.

Rosey wanted to get into the decorating action as well....

Until Kingston wanted to help her...

Putting the star up. We finished the tree after dinner, and Kingston had gotten really messy... hence naked Kingston helping dad!

Snickers checking out the tree, after Kingston went to bed. Our cats love a fresh tree every year too. It makes them feel like they are outdoors... ha ha ha..

The first snow of the season! Yayyyy!

Cheese!

Watch out mom, here comes a snow ball!

We didn't get much, so I made a mini snow man. Kingston posing with it.

Seriously mom.... this is the best you could do???

I think he looked cute!

Our playgroup went on a trip to the Bass pro shop to see Santa. Afterwards Kingston played with some of the games they had set up for the kids. "Lets see... how does this thing work?"

Alright! I figured it out!

Now what do I shot first?

Checking out the fish too.

Cheese!

Dude your tall!

Mom, you think Santa can bring this on his slay?

Hummmm, how does this train table work?

Here we go! Now I got the hang of it!

Our first batch of Christmas cookies. Kingston and I did these.

Chad seemed to think he could do a better job, so he and Kingston did the next batch.

Cheese!

Adding the final touch.

Ummmmmm SO GOOD!

Chad and Kingston's more decorative cookies.

So I had to do some last minute Christmas shopping, and I told Chad to take King outside to wear him out so he would take a nap. And when I pulled up this is what I found in front yard.

I still can't figure out how Chad managed to make this snow man, because you can see we didn't have much snow on the ground.... My mom thinks he had the snow shipped in!

# 2 due in June!

So if you didn't get our Christmas card which announced our new addition, here is a picture of the new Bean! Our next ultrasound is in February and with much protest on my part we will be finding out the sex for this one. Kingston on the other hand seems to think (or want) we are having a baby kitty instead...... ha ha ha... Go figure!

Thanksgiving

This year Thanksgiving was at Gammy and Gandaddy's house(My parents). And we made a visit to Nana and Papaw's house the next day. Then on Saturday, Kingston and I went to see Virginia Tech play UVA on a VERY COLD and windy day.
Christmas holiday pictures coming soon!

The night before Thanksgiving. Someone was worn out!

Resting before Thanksgiving dinner. (Even Sophia the cat is resting above them.)

Sitting down for dinner.

Another view with Chad added to it.

Talking to Cousin Landon who was in Iowa, during dinner.

Taking a ride on Papaw's lawn mower.

Checking out the back yard now.

Kingston trying to find out how to steer the wheel straight.

Taking a rest with Nana after riding with Papaw.

Getting ready to go to the game with Gammy! " Do we have enough layers on Gammy? I don't know if I can walk...."

Watching the tech game. Go Hokies!

Cheese!

One of the few times he sat still. Great shot with Gandaddy and Gammy!
