Well after 2 month's I finally have had a chance to post some pictures of Kyla. My family has been going through a tough time since the beginning of July when my brother was in a accident and had a severe brain injury. Luckily he is going to make a full recovery and just a couple of days ago has been released from the hospital and will be starting rehab. Thank you to all who have put him in your thoughts and prayers!
So that being said, Kyla's first 2 month's of life has definitely been challenging and she has become a seasoned traveler back and forth to Roanoke. She is growing everyday and doing really well. Some would say she definitely has a set of lungs on her and when she is not happy shescreams to let you know what she wants. That is why her nickname around the Bean house is "Screamer." To those who have not experienced her crying would think that is wrong to call her "Screamer" but once you have been exposed to her crying then you will change your mind. She is now 8 weeks old, weighs 10lbs 3 ounces, and is 22 3/4 inches long. And she is really starting to be more alert with lots of smiles and coos.
Kingston has been the best big brother a mom and dad could wish for. I am so proud of him with how well he has taken to someone else taking some of his mom's attention away from him. When she first came home he would come running to where ever she was when she was crying to make sure she was okay. He calls her "my baby." =) As she gets older and more mobile then we will see what he thinks of her..... But for now he has been a great kid and great big brother since she has come into our world.
