Kingston is still on steroids as you can see and will not stop growing. Most people don't think he is only 2.5 years old, but they just shrug and say okay....with a perplexed look on there face. We still have the curls, and still get at least one comment everyday from a new stranger who is fascinated by our curls. (Not kidding on the everyday thing! Really! If I had a penny yes a penny, for every time we get a comment about his hair I am positive we could pay for his college tuition. For all 4 years and then he would still have some left over for beer money!) He is talking alot more now and says I love you too every time we tell him we love him which is really great to hear finally! Chad got the first I love you! That was probably the beginning of the summer. He also is telling us what he wants now alot more and telling us what to do too... which we just laugh at and appease him sometimes. He is really into Super Hero's and thinks he is one alot of times. He has names for all of his shoes for some reason... maybe he gets his shoe love from me. =) But he has an Iron man shoes, Spider man shoes, Running shoes, Race car shoes, etc.... I could go on and on, but only one of those shoes actually has a super hero on them and that is Spider man shoes. When we got those, (with me trying to talk him out of them for 30 minutes walking through Target) he proceeded to show them to anyone who was interested the rest of the week after getting them where ever we went in public.
So as you can tell, Kingston is not a very shy person and is very social to say the least. Especially in situations where there is tons of children involved. Kingston always seem to include himself in any group situation and try to blend in when we have gone to Lewis Ginter, the mall play area, parks and playgrounds. And he will just go along with what everyone else is doing, especially if those kids look like they are having fun. He loves to play outside alot and kick the ball with dada, and myself. He always says, play soccer momma. Which brings me to he also has soccor outfits he thinks. Speaking of clothing, he also now has an opinion on what he wears and most of the time it is some super hero shirt with shorts. He can not stand wearing pants for some reason, and is really going to have to adjust to the fall and winter soon. But the only reasoning behind not wanting to wear pants is because he can't see his shoes! Duh!?!? Ha ha ha... He is already metro! Chad took me to Las Vegas for our 9 year anniversary and I got Kingston this "Lady's Man" shirt that was red, well for some reason he LOVED IT and wanted to wear it all the time. I think it was because it is red(he likes red shirts..) this the reason, but I am so glad we got him some more super hero shirts to loose interest in the Lady's Man shirt, because people were starting to stare.... ha ha
So here are some parts of the summer from the beginning to almost recently. I am in the process of uploading more.
Our Azalea bushes finally really bloomed after living her for 6 years! Go figure...
Some had hints of pink in them so I though that was neat.
Have no clue what this is but Chad hates it, yet he hasn't cut it down either.... But I kind of like it.
This is what grows on it from spring to summer. The birds love it!
Maybe I should look into them... maybe I could make our own wine! =)
So with it being hot, I water my plants alot and someone doesn't leave me alone. So I came up with playing a new game called shooting Kingston with a hose and see how fast he can run! Here is Chad taking in on the fun b/c he was jealous. Ha ha ha...
King then thought to make up his own game called hit the water with a bat.
Crazy!
Stop for a moment and play in the sand.
Okay, now run around like my crazy self again!
Oh wait mom is taking pictures.... Cheeeeeeeeesssssseeee!
Now he thinks he is "Rain Man" literally, and continues to "rain" over the yard! (Chad and I were just laughing thinking of the movie Rain Man, every time Kingston yelled "Rain Man" really loud for the neighbors to hear!)
Okay now the bike!
New wheels! Diego bike!
Trying out the turns on the bike.
Trying to peddle himself.....
Cheese! Dada why can't I move?
Waiting to get into the Flying Squirrel's game with Mike and Morgan. ( Madden was at this grandparents house.)
Checking out the game with dada.
Okay, enough watching the game, let's play with Morgan instead.
Kingston attacking poor Morgan.
There he is! Not everyone looks excited thought.... ha ha ha..
Waiting for Nutsy....
Leaving the game.
Rainbow zoomed in. Can you see it?
Now can you see it?
He thought we were in Music class (long story) so he was freaked out.

The stick she carried. I don't know where she was. Maybe she wasn't really real..... ha ha ha...

Just to prove we were under a tree! Pretty neat shot.

I can now say I have seen a 100+ year old Mulberry tree and eaten its Mulberry's. So has Kingston and he has climbed too. Just one of the many groups of kids Kingston "blended" in with.
Kingston and his friend Jackson playing under the mulberry tree.

Kingston and his new friend...... the monkey. Say "Cheeeeeeese" monkey!

Did you get a good shot of me andthe monkey mom?
Climbing the Mulberry Tree.

Back to the monkey statue again.... Kingston introducing Jackson to his friend the monkey....

Kingston and Jackson preventing anyone else from seeing their new friend.

Kingston doing his usual... blending in with the group.

Since I get the privilege to stay at home with Kingston I get to notice the little things in life that are cute in our yard. And if you really know me you are not surprised the I am posting pictures of squirrels!

You know it is hot when squirrels are doing this all the time this summer!

So if you have never had Nutella before then let this be your answer on if it is good! Kingston first try of Nutella for breakfast on bread..... He loved it... can you tell?
BOO!

So our last visit to Lewis Ginter with Jackson the water play area wasn't open yet. So we just had to go back and try it out with Bennett this time!

Bennett, come back! Agghhhhhh.... Water in my face...Agggggghhh! Bennett where are you?
So what's next mom?

So I say "let's go to the tree house!" And Bennett's is telling Kingston the same thing. Too Cute!

Hanging in the tree house. Cheese! Such hams!

Best Buds!
Checking out the fishing spots.

Introducing Bennett to the "Monkey."

Can you tell these two have known each other since Kingston was 3months and Bennett was 6months? ha ha ha... Nahhhhhh.... =)

This time we had more room to climb to the tree without a crowd. Pretty cool tree.

Looking for berries.

One morning Kingston would not stop pulling every single thing out of his toy box to find something.... then when he found it he proceeded to sit in his mess and play with his plane he finally found! The look of joy! ha ha

Yayyyyyy! Plane!
Happy Father's day Dada!

That's more like it!!!!!

Another hot day. Downtown Children's Musuem time!

Big apple picking tree. Kingston is slowly liking to play with it. He is more interested in how it actually works though. Go figure!
