Okay, Lets Go!

So lately Kingston is pretty sure on what "Let's Go" means, to the point he says it all the time. But last week he went into the living room, got one of my shoes and proceeded to "try" and walk with one of my big boats I call shoes. And then he would say "Lets Go." So I guess he didn't think my shoes were that great anymore when Daddy came home with his fancy shoes from working all day. Kingston proceeded to put one of daddy's shoes on and went to the door this time and kept saying lets go!
And then yesterday he thought he was cool and carried a plastic bag on his shoulder around the house saying "lets go"... Do you think he gets out much?

Are you ready for some Football????

Kingston is getting ready for the up coming season tickets to the Virginia Tech games! Yayyy!

Watch out people!

Guess who likes to wear ties?

Hummmm, is this the right tie for the look I am going for? What would daddy do?

Yeah! I look Goooooood!

Strawberries and Wine!

Last week we all had a pretty busy week. Sunday we had Mother's day, but on this day our cousin Joshua graduated from Hampton Sydney. So mommy got to leave Kingston home with daddy and go see her cousin graduate which was so nice of daddy. Tuesday, was Chad and I's 8 year wedding anniversary, which we celebrated with Outback-To-Go and watched American Idol! ha ha ha...
Then on Wednesday Kingston and I went with our playgroup to the Chesterfield Berry Farm to pick strawberries. It could not have been more of a pretty day for picking and with all of the rain we have gotten lately the strawberries were big, red, and ready for pickin! And lets just say Kingston REALLY liked fresh strawberries! He was almost eating more than mommy could pick. He wasn't very much help either, b/c mommy had to do all the work as usual, and pick the berries. Then after the hayride to and from the berry field he got to play in a moon bounce with all of his friends and then we had a picnic. After the picnic he got to play in a corn barrel and Kingston just made himself at home in the middle and loved every minute of it! As you can tell in the pictures, we both had a great time!
On Saturday Kingston and I went to the New Kent Wine Festival with our friends Jenny and Jackson, and had a blast! Kingston and Jackson had fun, but I think mommy and Jenny had more fun with all the wine tasting! ;) And poor daddy stayed home to play with his new weed-whacker that he got from mommy on their anniversary! Yes, how romantic! ha ha ha...

Here are some pictures from the berry picking, and I will put some of the wine festival up later.

Quick! Lets get out of here before they know we are taking these!

Are you sure these are real???

Yep! Their real!

And REAL GOOD! Double "fisting it" here!

Our hayride awaits!

Oh mom, not another picture please! I think the strawberries are getting to me.... this ride is bumpy!

Hey pretty ladies....

Okay I can do this, just one foot in front of the other....... Why am I bouncing?!?!

We are not caged animals ladies, get us out of here!!!!!

What happens at the picnic.... stays at the picnic!
Daddy would not be able to handle this!

Dude!?!? Where did you get that corn ear-ring?

My friend's Jackson,Bennett, and Madelyn didn't get too far away from the entrance...

Kingston always makes new friends where ever we go! They were actually trying to cover him up with corn and he loved every minute of it!

Ahhhh, peace and quiet with my corn! How Zen... ahhhh... ummmmmm....

What, it's not nap time yet?!?!?

Hey, this is my corn! Get your own girl!

I have died and gone to corn heaven!

Passed out before we even got out of the parking lot of the farm!

Pictures from our Zoo trip.

Kingston with his older girlfriend Virginia.

Typical child, beating it's mother over the head!

I believe this one is a little lonely. Actually, he was arguing with another chimp and went over to his window and pouted.

Thank goodness mommies turtle Oscar didn't get this big!

No this isn't Oscar, but she would really like this place! Lucky for Oscar she is with the Baskette family and Kingston and I still get to see her!

Kingston talking to the goat.

The gang!

We were hoping the penguins would do there version of the "Happy Feet" movie, but no luck!

We are pretty sure this kangaroo was breathing....

Kingston pretending to be the Kangaroo... he was very tired from his busy day! Hey, it's hard being 15 months old people!

Pollen, animals, and camera's oh my!

So sorry for the long delay on events.... I have been in a "pollen fog" from all of the activities we have been up to lately. Two weeks ago Kingston and I had a fun filled week with Stroller Stride classes as usual. But Thursday we went to the zoo with our friends and had a great time! Kingston loved watching all of the animals, and tried to feed the goats. Then on Friday we went on a trip to Williamsburg with a couple of our friends from our playgroup and got some cool clothes for Kingston. Mommy did pretty good and bought Kingston like 5 shirts, and 2 pairs of shorts all of it under 30 dollars! Then on Saturday Daddy got brave and let us all go to the new Farmers Market that opened up in the Westend. We had fun, but it was really hot! Daddy said he doesn't want to go again... so I guess Kingston and I will be going to get our fresh fruits and veggies all by our lonesome... =( Daddy didn't do well with the crowd and heat...

Then last week we have been pretty busy as well with Stroller Stride classes, the Children's Museum, and playgroup. On Tuesday the Richmond Times Dispatch was there to do an article on Stroller Strides, so look out we might be in some pictures in the newspaper. But who knows? And I forgot to tell you that the local NBC news channel was at Stroller Strides last week too, but we didn't get much air time so I doubt we will be on TV but who knows... It will probably be some embarrassing shots of mommy running and exercising, which might not look so "hot."

Kingston is doing well, and getting into everything as usual. He is really trying to talk now and chatters all the time, but we don't know what he says most of the time. Chad is trying to get him to do football moves, which I am still not sure he understands that it might not be fun for mommy when she is out with Kingston and he decides to fall flat on the floor from doing practice runs with daddy. Pretty much he understands down, set, hut, but he can't get past the down... To which he will sometimes put his hand on his knees and bend, and then sometimes he will just hit the floor flat like he is doing a belly flop. Yeah, it is pretty funny sometimes but not in public. Thankfully he has not bit me anymore either. He throws a mean ball too by the way, and likes to stack blocks and clap for himself when he does so. He still is madly in love with Butterscotch, but is starting to cheat on him with Rosey... Rosey likes Kingston's bunny he got from Nana and Papaw, to the point that she loves sleep on it, and allows Kingston to pet her while she is sleeping. But petting to Kingston is like groping to Rosey and she will only tolerate her fur being pulled and her body being squeezed so much!

He also knows when I go to pet sit now on who's house we are going to when we pull up, he starts barking and when we go to a cat house he will make "kee kee" noises. He is still Mr. Personality to the point now where any pretty lady he see's he will go up to her and have her pick him up. Which reminds me of him going to his friend Charlotte's 1st birthday. He was all over the place, but managed to find a pretty lady and went straight to her and flirted then walked away. But then he went back to her again a couple of minutes later after socializing with other people and put his arms up for her to pick him up! I have TONS and TONS of pictures of all of our eventful outings that I will post later.

The Love Affair Continues

Poor Butterscotch... we have given up all hope for him.
