Our Fall Activities

Yes, I am finally getting around to posting our fall pictures. As you can see we were busy and I am just lazy on downloading and posting. So here are our fall pictures and activities.... I will not jinx myself and say when I am going to post some beach pictures, Thanksgiving, or our Christmas activities either. But hopefully I will get those on here before 2011!

Enjoy!

The "Shirt" that we wore for a while..... Day 1.

Day 2. Wearing Daddy's socks over his pants for some reason and checking himself out.

Dude, what's in this carrot.....?

Same day just added boots. The boots were another thing we had to wear as well....

Cheese!

Cheese! The shirt is a purchase that King picked out when we were at the beach. I have a feeling this is the start of many tye dyed shirts in our future.... Soon he will be listening to the Grateful Dead...ha ha ha...

Day 3. Apple picking with out play group at Carter Mountain Orchard.
Apple check, stick check! Okay let's do this!

Hey ladies, come around here much? Want to try my apple....???

King hanging with his lady friends, Kate and Isabella.

Picking his first apple.

Me and my boy!

Ummmmmmm sooooooo goooood mom!

I think I ate a worm......

Walking through the orchard while eating another apple.

Checking out the view from the top. Literally the orchard is on top of a mountain.

Cheese!

Going up the Mountain after the down hill hike to the orchard with the apples we wanted.

Another view as I was resting for a moment....

Looking down the Mountain from where we were picking.

Sneaking a drink of mommy's apple/peach pie slushy.

Taking some pictures with the pumpkins before we leave.

Wait let me relax a little....

Cheese!

Trying to get a group shot..... it is not an easy task! Believe me!

Playing peek a boo with my friend Henry.

Boo!

Chasing my friend Kate!

Okay, I can pose for another picture. Cheese!

The view from the other side of the orchard. This is the vineyard part I think...?

Another shot before leaving.

Passed out even before we got down the bottom of the Mountain. Apple picking is serious business!

Dirt boy day one!

Some one has decided it is fun to play in dirt.....

Checking the water temperature before our much needed bath!

Dirt boy day 2!

Cheese!

Hey, it's hard looking this good people!

Let me give you a better shot. Cheese!

Checking out Gandaddy's phone.

Still checking out Gandaddy's phone.... I think he was trying to check out the picture of his cousin Landon on there.

Trying to take Gandaddy's phone..... Looks like Superman is winning.

I'm singing in the rain.....

Hey, wait a minute.... it's not raining...

Oh well, I will just use it as a stick instead. What can I hit?

Super Kingston with his magical power sticks!

Watch out evil doers I am coming to get you with my stick!

Oh look it's Super Gammy too save the day as well with her camera!

Looks like the two might need to work on their super powers.....

A day in the life of Kingston during nap time when he doesn't take a nap....

Super hero Kingston with my super hero changing pad hooked to my back!

Oh yeah and my super hero kitty is hooked on too! (Poor kitty...)

How do I look mom????

A view from behind, in case you didn't believe me that he had the changing pad hooked onto him.

Pow! Super hero powers are radiating from my fingers!

Fire Safety event at Deep Run Park. The Fire Fighters showing off their repealing skills.

Hey how you drive this thing? (Notice the shirt? Another tye dye day...)

Getting some help from a nice fire man on shooting the target with the fire hose. Kingston loved this!

Seriously how do you start this thing and drive??? I have a hat, don't you know I am a fire fighter?

Back at the fire hose game again...

Okay, forget it! I will figure this thing out!

Watching the helicopter land.

Landing successful!

Mom....... I said enough with the pictures already!

Getting some love from the fire dog.

Getting his fireman hat officially put on by the firedog!

Discussing fire safety tips.

Our trip to go see Yo Gabba Gabba(A Nick Jr. Channel show.) at the Landmark Theater downtown. Kingston did really well and loved every minute of it.

Kingston isn't crazy with taking pictures these days and will show you his dislike in every way. Someone didn't want to wear his cool glasses like mommy.

Another lovely picture of our happy son! ha ha ha... See even daddy was sporting those cool glasses!
(I think this is the first time he was embarrassed by his parents... ha ha ha...)

The Yo Gabba Gabba characters on the stage.

Just another shot. Don't know what it is though...

Checking out his balloon that fell from the ceiling during the show. It popped about ten minutes later.

To those of you who are into beat boxing this is the back side of Biz Markie who let kids come up and beat box. Kingston wanted to do it so bad, but we didn't get picked.... =(

Kingston and Daddy with Luna after the show. He didn't want to let go of Luna.

Our annual pumpkin picking adventure as a family. This is before the hayride.

Cheese!

Such a pretty day. I had to get some shots while we were on our hayride.

Some horses in the background. This is at Hanover Vegetable Farm. Best place for pumpkin picking!

Kingston and Daddy getting started!

Kingston trying to find the "one."

King running. Chad is in the background carrying the pumpkins.... poor guy.

Mom and Kingston trying to find another good one.

Got our pumpkin's now just waiting for the hayride back.

Another happy Kingston shot while riding back. Hey, at least Chad and I look happy! ha ha ha..

Dude, it is so much better watching TV with Sunglasses instead!

No seriously you should try doing it!

Robin waiting very patiently for trick or treating to start!

Robin and Daddy ready to go!

Posing with our pumpkin's.

Robin and his mom the cat!

Robin and Daddy!

Going to see our neighbor Sally.

Visiting our neighbor Louise.

Robin soon turned into Cowboy Robin, after we visited the Simpson's. Thanks to Cousin Josh for giving him his costume props!

Who want's to see my shooting skills????

Let me eat some candy first.... Thanks to Aunt Patty and Sam for helping me reload.

Yeap, looks like the candy worked! Cheese!

Freeze suckers! Uncle Landon and Cousin Mason were just innocent by standers....
Kingston wasn't happy with Landon taking his hat!

At the Children's Musuem. Where Scooby Doo and other characters were making an appearance one Saturday morning.

Daddy and King watching them dance to music.

The Diggity Dudes, which is a local kids band were really good!

King and mommy checking out the band too.

Another shot, but better angle. After it cleared out I sat down with my boys for the show.

Meeting Nutzy the Squirrel while we were there.

Trying to ride the dinosaur.

Hey mom, look at me I'm a chicken!

Chad checking out the utters on the cow, while King checks out the bell.... ha ha ha...

Chad showing King how to milk the cow.

At the Va Museum of Fine Arts doing our Picasso project with our playgroup.

I was very surprised King really got into it and did a great job!

Adding the feathers to his master piece!

After we were done, we went to go look at the actual Picasso painting of the one they did, and he did not want to leave his art work. He cried for like 5 minutes and did not want to leave it, but was happy to come get it after we were done. He is already very serious about his art! Just like his daddy!

Walking hand in hand with his friend Charlotte. So cute!

Such a ladies man! Kate wanted to get into the hand holding action too.

Group shot of all the kids. Pretty good for 2 and 3 year olds!

Starting to loose their attention quickly! ha ha ha...
