Puerto Rico!

Chad and I were very lucky to be able to go to Puerto Rico for the second year with his company at the end of February. This is the 3rd year Chad has qualified for the Founders Club Trip. The first year we could go they went to Aruba, but we couldn't go because the trip was on our due date, and last year everyone loved this place so much they decided to come back. So either way we were super excited to go, especially with all of the snow we have had all winter. The warm weather was just what the doctor ordered!

Here are a bunch of pictures from our trip. Last year the last night we were there my camera got stolen, so we had no pictures to show for our trip, other than the ones we quickly took before the we left on our camera phone's. Either way, we had a wonderful time and enjoyed the relaxation. Thank you to Nana and Papaw for watching Kingston for us! He probably didn't even miss us because he was having so much fun. And Thank You to my wonderful husband who works his butt off for our family and luckily he is rewarded in his hard work with these awesome trips, because I couldn't swing this! ha ha ha... =)

Ahhhhhh, this is our balcony!

Part of our room.

One view from our balcony. (That island way out to the left, is where we took a boat everyday to go to the private beach. I felt like Richard Branson!)

Another view from our balcony. (Don't know what that little island is...)

Another view from our balcony. (This is "part" of the resort. Pretty much the resort is HUGE! It literally sits on a cliff, and the rest of the resort is down below us too, with a water park, marina, and condo's.)

Just another view with some zoom.

The beach.

Opposite view of the beach.

Chad walking to the end of the dock to catch the boat that is on it's way.

The private side of the Island.... (Supposedly someone owns and lives on the island by themselves, and rents the island to the resort exclusively.)

The resort side of the island.

Chad is channeling his Leonardo DiCaprio's, Titantic moves!

Our friends laughing at Chad pretending to be Leonardo DiCaprio... ha ha... (Kidding!)

Pretty view of the ocean and sun.

Okay, who can guess who wore sunscreen and a hat? And who wore no sunscreen and no hat?
(We were at dinner with a bunch of friends in this picture.)

Chad relaxing under a palm tree.

The view from my beach chair. I am thinking about getting a frame for this one, to look at when I need to relax. (And I actually remember No Joke! having a big poster like this of a beach and thinking to myself as a kid one day I want to be there! Pretty amazing! I just remembered that.)

Just to prove that the above picture was my view everyday! You see my toes in the corner...? ha ha ha...

And more proof! Cheese!

Do we looked relaxed?

A little girl on a horse in front of the cafe we ate ate near the dock. (They had horse back riding on the island.)

Chad joked about knocking down a coconut and drinking it. So when I saw they had some fresh ones at the bar, I asked the waitress if they made drinks out of the ones they had and this is what Chad got!
(They put rum into it, but Chad said it was awful! ha ha ha...)

Chad going down the most terrifying water slide I have ever been on. I only did it once and got a reverse wedgie from doing it.

And this is why I got a reverse wedgie! Chad's feet coming out off the "slide of doom."

Me and my lady friends, Francesca and Leigh.

Chad and I at the Apex awards dinner. Chad was presented with an award for being one of the companies TOP recruiters in the country, for the third year in a row. I am so proud of him! ( And yes we both got sunburned, too bad it didn't go well with our outfits. )

Last day going to the beach. Chad took this before the camera got adjusted to the warm air, and our camera fogged up.

Another foggy picture.... now you know why I take the pictures! ha ha ha... (Amateur!)

Another foggy picture, but you can get the idea... This is the main pool area at top of the resort.

Chad hanging out enjoying the view for the last time.

Just another beautiful shot of the island from our resort... Post card material here!

Same spot from above picture, just looking back at the resort.

The same spot as the last two shots above, now just looking down the cliff at the resort. The first set of buildings are more rooms, and then the next level is the marina, with a bar, shops, more rooms and condo's and all the way to the far right is the water park.

Same spot again, but just looking at the top of the resort. I think those are condo's too.

Last year the bunnies were everywhere, while we ate at the cafe on the island. And I loved feeding them, but this year they weren't around. Until the last day, they decided come to the beach to see me! =))

Even though the bunnies were not around, the chicken's and iguana's were. I never had my camera around for the iguana's but the day I decided to eat chicken nuggets, this chicken would not stop starring at me while I ate. I tried telling him I wasn't eating his wife but he just kept staring! (The chickens, iguana's, and bunnies all live wild on the island.)

Better shot of my "stalker" chicken! Seriously, he would not leave until I left. I think the iguana's told him I gave out food.....

My "artsy" flower shot.

This is actually another very tiny island that you can kayak to, from the beach. It is very small, and not livable, but people can hang out there during the day I guess. We never ventured out there, because someone else got stung by a sea urchin and I don't mess with those! (The guy worked for Apex and was in a wheel chair, then crutch's for the rest of the trip last year. Seriously, google those things! Scary looking! )

Last day coming back from the island. View of the whole resort on a cloudy day. It became overcast and then started raining when we got back to the resort. Kind of made it easier going home with it raining a little our last day. =(

Some where over Atlanta, in the plane....... (I could say I was parachuting over Puerto Rico and I took this, which would have been a cool story, but I can't lie. I am on a Air Japan/Delta plane flying back to Richmond. )

Another parachuting shot! ;) Okay, I was a little bored on the plane, can ya tell?

Okay, this is right before I jumped... ha ha ha... Go with me on this one!

Did you ever wondered what it would be like to float on a cloud when you were a kid? Or in my case, still when you are an adult??? Well here is the picture of it! =)

Another floating on a cloud moment.....

Kingston's 1st hair cut

Well I finally broke down and decided it was time. Chad has been begging me to cut it, so I finally gave in. So a couple of weeks ago we took him to a local kids hair salon and did the cut. He handled it really well, and never seemed to have a problem. He was too distracted by everything else around him. So here are the picture from the event.

Chad and Kingston checking out the place.

Well, it seems to be okay dad. So let's play with this train set.

What?!?! We are not taking this thing for a drive and your going to do what?

Ummmm, hey dude! You know what is going on here? You want to switch cars?

Alright lady, let's talk about what is going on here!

Hey sweetheart! You want to ride in my car?

Not too close to the ears please. I've only had them for 2 years now.

I made him turn left and right for me to get the full cut.

I told Chad he looked like an old lady with a new perm now. And that night when we were at Target, we saw two old ladies with the same hair do... ha ha ha...

Cheese!!

Cheese!

Kingston and his Bobot! That is really what he calls it. He is into bobot's lately....
