Flowers and Butterflies

The last two weeks we have been in the house alot b/c Kingston has been sick with a stomach bug. But when he was feeling a little better last weekend on Memorial Day we took him to the Lewis Ginter Botanical Gardens and we got to see "Butterfly's Live." It was a fun trip for the whole family, but it got hot and inside the butterfly exhibit we could not take a stroller in so with the butterfly's landing on the floor we were afraid that Kingston would start a butterfly massacre. As you can see we had to hold him back from getting down, but luckily we still got some good pictures in between the squirming and fussing. He was pretty worn out too when we got home as you can see from the last two pictures.

At the beginning of our adventure into the flowers and such...

Daddy and Kingston looking at the pond.

No that's not Oscar either, but another place she would have liked!

The crane was real too. Great picture I might add...=)

Another great picture mommy took! Don't know what these were, but they were as soft as they look.

Don't know the name of these either.... Can you tell we didn't pay attention? ADD What?

Okay, I will "toot" my own horn! Mommy is Great Photographer! Check this shot out!

It took us a while to get this shot. Someone didn't want his picture taken.

Again, sorry don't know the name of this one either.

I know this is a rose, but don't know which type.

Daddy and Kingston walking through the rose garden. It was so pretty and smelled so wonderful!

The observatory in the background is where the "Butterflies Live" were.

More roses, these are daddy's favorite he said.

Butterflies here we come!!!!!

Chad preventing Kingston from jumping....

Pretty butterfly.

Chad started taking pictures when we got to the butterflies, b/c mommy had to hold Kingston.

Awwww, pretty flower.

Another pretty butterfly.

Chad is trying to show me up with his photography of the butterflies.

I can't take anymore butterflies or flowers!

I'm done!
